How early should I get to the airport to check-in for my flight?
We recommend that you get to the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time for all international flights.
What is my checked luggage allowance on flights to Asia?
For travel to/from North America and Asia you can take up to 2 pieces of checked luggage per person, each piece not exceeding 32kg in weight. Overall dimensions (L + W + H) for checked luggage should not exceed 158cm.
For journeys within Asia that originate in Asia, the restrictions for checked baggage are 1 piece per person, not weighing more than 20kg. It is a good idea to check standard luggage sizes directly with the airlines as these can vary according to each carrier.
How many pieces of carry on luggage can I take with me?
All transpacific carriers allow 1 piece of carry on luggage per person, not exceeding 10kgs in weight. Carry on luggage should also be limited in size (23cm x 40cm x 55cm) so that it can fit into the overhead lockers.
Do I need a visa to visit countries in Asia?
You definitely need a passport with at least 6 months validity remaining at the time your journey starts.
Except for China, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, you can make travel or sightseeing visits to most countries in Asia without a visa. However, it is always advisable to check visa requirements with the consulate or embassy of each country you wish to visit, before you travel. Visa restrictions can vary according to what nationality you are, what type of passport you hold, and the nature of your visit.

Do you offer any student discounts?

How close to the day of departure can I book?
For travel to China you need to allow enough time to obtain a visa, so latest bookings should be made a minimum of 10 days before travel. In extreme cases where it is necessary to expedite the visa application process, an additional fee will be charged.
For travel to other countries in Asia we recommend that bookings should be made up to 7 days prior to travel. Bookings made within 7 days of departure will be subject to additional administration and handling fees.
